No text messaging while driving

Posted: 16 Mar 2007

The Washington State House passed a law banning text messaging while driving.

In accordance with the law, it is expected for the Senate to also pass the bill. Thus having such a law in action any police officer has a legal power to stop you if you are composing or reading a text message while driving, and the guilty person would carry a fine of $101.

On the other hand as soon as the law is passed a police officer can file you each time you are only seen with mobile device in your hands.
