Nokia has announced 5 new cell phones, targeted at the developing markets worldwide.
Nokia 2220 slide offers Bluetooth, VGA camera, MMS, Ovi Mail support and the ability to record FM radio broadcasts. Only EUR 45 before taxes and subsidies.
The Nokia 2690 - the same as the 2220, plus the 3.5mm jack and an included 2GB microSD card. It will be available for EUR 54 (before taxes and subsidies) at the beginning of 2010.
Nokia 1280, 1616 and 1800 are all basic cell phones with dust-resistant numeric keypads, anti-scratch surface coatings, flash-light, FM radio, and durable batteries, which can provide up to 8.5 hours of talk time and no less but 22 days in standby. The 1280 and 1616 models also come with 3.5mm jacks. All three will be available in Q1 2010 for 20, 24 and 26 Euros, respectively (before taxes and subsidies).
