T-Mobile of Germany is most likely to be the European wireless carrier for the Apple iPhone. Several biggest European cellular networks, such as Vodafone, Orange and O2 owner Telefonica, have been competing for the right to distribute the upcoming device in Europe. But it is supposed that Apple has narrowed this shortlist to Vodafone and T-Mobile. The second one is the favavorite according to sources. The company has already signed an exclusive deal with AT&T to sell the iPhone in the US. The other carriers have software and network incompatibilities, and have been rejected.
