Sony Ericsson Xperia X2a Now available in the U.S.

The new Sony Ericsson Xperia X2a is an American verison of the X2 model, and a successor to the unpopular X1, boasting a similar landscape slider design. It is available now at SonyStyle.com for $599.99 due to the lack of subsidies from any U.S. carriers.

The X2a is compatible with AT&T's 3G network, and offers the following features:

  • Windows Mobile 6.5;
  • Physical QWERTY keyboard;
  • Panel interface;
  • 8.1Mpix camera;
  • 3.2" screen and a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels;
  • 528 MHz Qualcomm processor;
  • 1500mah battery;
  • 256MB of RAM/512MB of ROM;
  • microSD slot (4GB card is pre-installed on the device);
  • Tri-band HSPA (850/1900/2100 MHz)
