The WiMAX-enabled HTC EVO 4G is now available to Sprint customers for $199 on contract. It is one of the first handsets in the U.S. to support live video chats, the application for which is being provided by Qik. The handset can also handle simultaneous voice and data sessions in 4G markets, and can stream HD video content over the wireless network. According to the carrier, it will be the first mobile device capable of watching YouTube videos in "high quality."
The EVO 4G will require a $70/month Everything Unlimited plan plus an additional $10 per month for WiMax 4G access.
