Google has updated its Goggles app for Android devices. The latest build supports a number of new languages, including English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. You can take pictures of text written in these languages, and Goggles will analyze the text and return results in your the language of choice. The new version also features:
- Improved barcode recognition tool;
- The ability to recognize more products, logos and artwork;
- Re-worked user interface;
- The ability to initiate visual searches using images from a phone's photo gallery.
Google Goggles 1.1 is available in the Android Market to all devices running Android 1.6 and up.
