T-Mobile USA has announced the upcoming release of the Motorola CHARM messaging phone that will take place on August 25.
The CHARM resembles Motorola's old Q series of phones, and is a slim and square Android 2.1 based QWERTY smartphone featuring 3G connectivity, a 3Mpix camera/camcorder, MOTOBLUR, Adobe Flash-enabled web browsing, and a 2.8" touchscreen display. It also sports Motorola's BACKTRACK controller, allowing users to navigate the phone from the touchpad on its rear cover. Other features include a 1170mAh battery good for up to 5 hours of talk time or 13.9 days of standby.
According to the Moto's posted official Facebook page, the phone will cost $74.99 on contract.
