Vodafone Group, the world's biggest cellular operator, has presented their two new entry-level phones meant primarily for developing economies of Asia and Africa.
The Vodafone 125 and the Vodafone 225 are second generation (2G) phones that will sell for between $25.00 - $45.00, depending on the market and the model number. The handsets will be shipped to Egypt, Romania and South Africa with 15 more countries in the coming months and will compete with other low cost phones. Vodafone expects to sell over a million of these two phones within a year.
A good move indeed.
