Motorola FLIPOUT Now Available form AT&T

AT&T has released the new Motorola FLIPOUT, which was originally announced in June. The device retails for $79.99 with a 2-year contract, and has the following specifications:

  • Android 2.1 OS;
  • Motorola's MOTOBLUR UI;
  • Swing-out QWERTY keyboard;
  • 600MHz TI OMAP 3410 CPU;
  • 1,170mAh battery (up to 4.5 hours of battery life (3G) or up to 15 days of standby);
  • Support for up to 32GB of expandable storage (2GB microSD card included);
  • 3Mpix camera;
  • 3.5mm headphone jack;
  • Support for 802.11b/g Wi-Fi networks;
  • Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity

The handset was launched along with other Android 2.1 based Motorola phones, including the FLIPSIDE (800MHz processor, 3.7" touchscreen, $99.99), and the BRAVO (3.1" display, a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, CrystalTalk Plus, $129.99). Both will be available during the holiday season.
