HTC Mogul Smartphone from Sprint

Sprint introduced the new HTC Mogul CDMA smartphone, the successor to the older Sprint PPC-6700. The new Mogul features the same innovative design with slide-out QWERTY keyboard, large touch screen and five-way navigation button but also has several enhancements. The dimensions are: 4.33" x 2.32" x 0.73"

Features of the Mogul:

  • Memory: 256MB expandable via microSD slot up to 2GB (512 MB card included)
  • Camera: 2Mpix with flash, auto-focus and camcorder capabilities
  • Thumbwheel: enables convenient, one-handed operation

  • Wi-Fi connectivity
  • Support for Java games and applications
  • OS: Microsoft Windows Mobile 6 Professional Edition
  • Support for Microsoft Office Mobile including Word Mobile, Excel Mobile, PowerPoint Mobile, Office Outlook Mobile, Internet Explorer Mobile, Windows Media Player Mobile, ActiveSync, Windows Live Services, PDF Viewer
  • Sprint Music Store
  • On Demand service
  • Built-in speakerphone
  • Speaker-independent voice recognition
  • Long battery life

The Mogul will be available for purchase online and in Sprint business sales channels this week for $399.99 with a 2-year contract. And In July it will appear in Sprint retail stores.
