We’ve got to know that Nokia N9 is going straight to Australia, where it would appear at the most of the local carriers and phone retailers. One of the companies is already taking pre-orders for the device.
But you shouldn’t get too excited, because it will cost you a fortune. The Harvey Norman company is asking AU$829 for the unlocked first MeeGo-powered handset. Sounds a bit too expensive, even if it was the best thing on the market.
Now a couple of words about the specs: a 3.9-inch (480 x 854) display, an 8 MP camera, 16GB in-built memory (expandable upto 64GB), 1 GHz Processor and 1500 mAh Battery.
The features aren’t bad, but considering the spec sheet, the device shouldn’t cost more than $500.
We’ll be following the Nokia N9 in its trip to Australia and let you know when something new will come in our sight.
