Samsung has developed a TV chipset that supports several different digital standards, like DVB-H/T, DAB-IP, ISDB-T, and terrestrial DMB. This chip converts analog signal (UHF, VHF, or L-band) into digital to make it compatible with the handset and offers users the ability to switch between different broadcasting services while running a single application. Handsets with such chipset will be available in Europe and Asia first, and later in the U.S.
