According to a leaked Nvidia roadmap that was found in China by a techblog, the Tegra 4 chip will come out in Q1 of 2013.
The processor will be a quad-core ARM Cortex A15 chip which is said to be faster than the Qualcomm designed Krait core that sits cozily inside its S4 processors.
From the leaked roadmap pictured above, you can see that the first one is the Tegra 4, and the one next to that is a ramped up version of that same chip which will use smaller transistors allegedly.
While this is just what is being worked on now, roadmaps can change so nothing is set in stone yet.
