The Nokia's Assisted GPS (A-GPS) service allows Nokia Maps users to quickly find their current locations and get to their destinations faster “by decreasing the time wasted while they wait for a first fix”. In addition, by using a technical framework that works in tandem with Nokia's service, cellular operators can provide their own regional A-GPS services “making fix times even faster in certain areas”. This service is now available on Nokia 6110 Navigator and Nokia N95 thanks to its the latest software update. If your N95 doesn't support A-GPS, click here . In the future the company plans to integrate A-GPS in all its devices with GPS functionality.
