AT&T now offers a service, called AT&T Mobile Backup. Costing just $1.99 per month it allows subscribers to keep their contact data on the company's web site, so it can be later backed up to the phone. Customers will also have the ability to sync contacts from their Microsoft Outlook, Yahoo and AOL accounts and remotely erase data in case the phone is lost or stolen. The new service will be supported by a wide range of phones, starting with six Motorola handsets, followed by the others in time.
