The LG G Pad 8.3 is something between Nexus 7and Nexus 10 devices, but not being a Nexus device adds a few bells and whistles on top of Android.
For one thing, it ups the ante performance-wise compared with the N7 by packing a quad-core 1.7 GHz Snapdragon 600 CPU instead of the aging 1.5 GHz S4 Pro. Second, it sports the same stunning 1,920 x 1,200 pixels resolution while adding 1.3 inches of pure IPS display goodness in the mix.
The rest of the features are pretty impressive themselves, including 2 gigs of RAM, 16 GB of on-board storage, microSD support, a 5 MP rear camera and pre-loaded Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
Best Buy has just opened online pre-orders for the device in the US, priced at $349.99, the G Pad 8.3 will land in physical BB stores on November 3.
