Verizon, after many months of silence about the activation of Google’s Nexus 7 2013 on America’s biggest wireless network, has confirmed our fears.
Not all the way, as they’re still suggesting the LTE-enabled N7 will land at some point in the distant future on Verizon. But who’ll continue to show interest, two, three or six months from now?
They say we should boo Google and Asus instead, as a “systems issue” with Jelly Bean blocked the certification, with the two unwilling to work on it further as a KitKat update is looming on the horizon. Sounds like an easy fix is imminent, since Android 4.4 should land on the new Nexus 7 in no time, but once that happens, “testing” has to start all over again.
