LG caught us all off guard when sending out press invites for a February 13 event, thus confirming the G Pro 2 “beast” will go official ahead of MWC. But you can’t blame the Koreans for wanting to avoid a Barcelona face-off with Samsung’s Galaxy S5.
The G Pro 2 is to trump the GS5 in display size, yet everything else about it looks like a compromise.
AnTuTu listing suggests it’s to sport a 6-inch 1,920 x 1,080 pixels resolution screen and pack quad-core 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 heat.
On the bright side, you get 3 GB RAM, up from G2’s 2 gigs, and pre-loaded Android 4.4 KitKat.
