The HTC Desire 816 which was launched in select Asian markets in March this year, is now available for purchase in Europe.
It is currently available in Romania, although we are not quite sure whether other folk in various European countries will also be able to pick it up.
The unlocked handset will be on offer for $405 a pop after conversion from the Romanian local currency, where one will be able to pick up the dual SIM version of the HTC Desire 816.
The HTC Desire 816 will target the mid-range smartphone market, where it sports a chassis that measures 6.17” x 3.10” x 0.31”, running on Android 4.4 KitKat as the mobile operating system version of choice. Other hardware specifications of the HTC Desire 816 will include a 5.5” 720p display, a quad-core 1.6GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, a 13MP shooter at the back, a 5MP front-facing camera, 1.5GB RAM, and 8GB of internal memory, all of it powered by a 2,600 mAh battery.
