Here's a cool new concept model for the Nokia's N series, the N-XT, designed by Chris from Symbian Freak. The most noticeable feature here is the phone's sliding and swiveling touchscreen. The concept is public, so Nokia could very well pick it up.

The imagined features include:

LG has officially announced its KC910 model, the self-proclaimed Viewty successor that was first seen in August.

It should be available somewhere in the world in October for a yet unknown price.

Gosh, that was fast! Several weeks after its first appearance, the Samsung i8510 INNOV8 has become available from Orange UK. It still has all those features we mentioned a while ago, and is available now at Mobile.co.uk for £free on an 18 month contract, plus you'll get a spare Nokia 1650 on pay as you go with a £10 credit.

It was just a matter of time berore Samsung would announce its new i8510 8Mpix cameraphone, codenamed INNOV8. And now it's official.

This phone is bound to satisfy all the whims of tech-savvy users by offering the full spectrum of features for the ultimate mobile entertainment. With an 8Mpix camera, high speed data connections, surround-sound cinematic video experience and mobile gaming capabilities packed in a single device, what else could you want?

Samsung INNOV8 will be available in Europe starting August 2008, followed by other markets in September.

Samsung has unveiled its new i8510 smartphone, which integrates a whooping 8Mpix camera. Now, high resolution doesn't always mean quality, right? But let's not jump to conclusions - tt's a bit early to state anything as the phone is not yet available. And the exact release date is also kept secret. So, we wait...

Rumor has it that LG intends to create a new flagship phone that will eliminate all competition in the feild once released.

Known as the LG KC910, it is a 0.55" thick touchscreen handset equipped with an 8Mpix camera with Xenon flash, image stabilization, and automatic face detection. The camera will be able to capture videos at 120 fps in widescreen 720 x 480 resolution.

Five megapixels is good, but not enough for some manufacturers, apparently.

K-Touch has unveiled a new 8Mpix cameraphone called C280 for the Chinese market. It has an 8Mpix CMOS sensor with 3x optical zoom (likely from Samsung) and is claimed to support 1600 ISO.

In addition, the phone will also be using Canon’s DIGIC III image processing when it launches in China.

Samsung has created a new 8Mpix CMOS chip for future high-end phones.

The module measures 28mm x 15.3mm x 8.5mm, supports up to ISO 1600 in low-light conditions, and features anti-shake, face tracking, and macro mode (up to 1 cm close).

The company expects to put the chip into production by the second half of this year.
