Germany-based Digital Imaging Systems (DIS) has introduced today a new phone camera module. The DIS6931 comes with a 9Mpix CMOS sensor, autofocus, and an advanced optical lens system with mechanical shutter. The camera can take photos at 3488 x 2616 pixel resolution, and allows for capturing HD video at 30 fps.
The DIS6931 module is expected to be available for manufacturers by the end of the year.
