Adobe Flash 10.1 leaked for Android 2.2 phones

Android 2.2 'Froyo' to Support Flash Natively

In an interwiew New York Times, Andy Rubin, chief architect of Android stated that Android 2.2 will feature native Flash support, which enables certain types of web-based content on handsets. According to Adobe, Flash Player 10.1 for Android will be ready by the end of the first half of the year.

Adobe Flash 10.1 delayed to 2H 2010 for Android, BlackBerry and webOS

Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen has confirmed that the launch of Flash 10.1 for Android, BlackBerry and webOS has been pushed back to the second-half of this year. He also said we’re going to see flash on tablet devices, presumably running Android and Chrome.

Adobe Flash for the iPhone?

According to Adobe's CEO Shantanu Narayen, the company is working on an iPhone-compatible version of Flash due to their agreement with Apple. In his turn, Apple's CEO Steve Jobs said that Flash is too much for the iPhone to handle and that Flash Lite isn't capable enough. So they're making a custom build that will run smooth on the Apple's flagship handset.

Adobe FlashCast for mobile phones from Verizon Wireless

Verizon Wireless has become Adobe's exclusive North American wireless carrier partner for distributing Adobe mobile applications like FlashCast. FlashCast service gives users access to a multitude of V Cast Mobile TV channels.This service is expected to be fully available in the second half of this year.

Verizon has also introduced two new phones that support V Cast Mobile TV - LG VX9400 and Samsung's SCH-u620.
