Good news for Alltel customers: the carrier has released and is now offering the company's newest slider, Motorola QA4 Evoke, for jusr $99.99 on contract. Its features include:

• Full touchscreen;

• 2Mpix camera;

• Bluetooth with A2DP;
• microSD expansion slot

As expected, Alltel has released the new Motorola VE465 flip today and provided its detailed specifications. This relatively low end phone is available now for $50 on contract after an instant rebate.

Alltel has released the LG Banter today. The phone is basically a Rumor 2 clone, and will be available from the carrier for $19.99 after a $50 mail-in-rebate with a 2-year service agreement. Note that it's a whole $30 cheaper than the Sprint's offer. So, any takers?

Motorola came up with a new low-end rugged clamshell, the VE465, which has already been confirmed for Alltel and Telus.

Alltel has launched the new LG Banter, a solid QWERTY slider for those who like messaging. It also has a 1.3Mpix camera, microSD slot, Bluetooth, and user-friendly changeable front and back panels.

As expected, the Palm Treo Pro is now available on Alltel’s website for $199 with a 2-year contract after a $195 online discount and a $125 mail-in rebate. Alltel has announced a new web-based E-mail client for Windows Mobile based smartphones. Users who own a Samsung Delve, LG Scoop, Samsung Hue, MotoRAZR V3a or MotoK1m can also use it.

The new application supports Outlook Web Access, as well as offers Workgroup Connector for small and medium-businesses to handle POP/IMAP e-mail traffic on one of their PC's.

The Motorola QA30 was first seen only yesterday, and today it's already official as the Moto Hint by Alltel. Is shouldbecome available on November 28th for $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and with a two-year contract.
