Meet the Qigi i6, a new touchscreen smartphone from a Chinese manufacturer that allows users to choose between two operating systems. You can pick either Android or Windows Mobile 6.1, which is very convenient. Other specifications seem to be ok as well, except the lack of 3G support.

Starting today T-Mobile's G1 is available in a new color - white - and I must say the new skin looks much more attractive than the originally available colors. In addition to that, Colorware now offers a choice of colors for your G1, and will fully customize your handset for just $190, or will sell you a whole device unlocked and colored for $770.

A somewhat alternative to the G1 has been spotted today, a new Android-based phone, that is. It's called zzzPhone (see picture) and will be soon available in China at a low price of $119. Note, that it comes in multiple configurations, and will be more expensive if you add on features like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, TV tuner, and pico projector. Unfortunately, we don't know if there's are multiple colors for the handset too, as pink is definitely not everyone's favorite.

Koolu is busy porting the Android on the OpenMoko’s FreeRunner, given the open nature of the handset. They plan to release a beta build in the first week of December, but the full version will be available only in Q1 2009.
Anyway, who cares when you know you'll get to play with Google's Android on such a mediocre phone.

As you know, T-Mobile's G1 didn't include the 3.5mm adapter before, and users had to either use only miniUSB headphones, or buy the adapter separately. The adapter itself is cheap (costs just $2), but it takes some time to find and buy one, so why didn't they include it in the box in the first place?
Whatever the cause, it doesnt matter now, as new sets of the G1 phone will have the 3.

The white version of the T-Mobile’s G1 has been spotted on the company's website via the upgrade page. The phone isn't available yet, and probably won't be until Thanksgiving. All we can do is wait, but hopefully they'll release it sooner rather than later.

NTT DoCoMo and KTF announced they're planning to release a new Android-powered handset next year in Japan. The device is not ready yet, but when it's released, they say it will cost cheaper than its western counterparts.
Who knows, but it seems that at this rate Google's OS will soon conquer the whole world, just like the iPhone.
