Sprint has added another Android phone to its lineup, namely the Samsung Moment. It comes with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and a large AMOLED screen, and will be yours for $179.99 after $100 rebate after a 2-year contract. We'd suggest you to wait for the DROID to come out.

According to BGR, the launch of the T-Mobile's BlackBerry 9700 might have been pushed back to November 16th. Then it will be available at $199 with a 2-year agreement and $449 for full retail . Other than that, the Android-powered Samsung Behold II will launch on November 18th with a $249 price tag (plus a 2-year contract).

Not a very good port, but it's nice to see it running on an unsupported handset. At least they're trying.

HTC have confirmed that they're workong on an Android 2.0 update for the owners of the HTC Hero handset.

HTC has confirmed that they are working on several Android 2.0 based handsets, that should be available in the near future. It's nice to hear, since it would be weird if the only manufacturer to take advantage on the new OS would be Motorola with its Droid.

The guys over at the UnLockr found out that the HTC Passion, and upcoming handset Verizon, is in fact the carrier branded Android version of the HTC HD2.
