Great news for Sprint customers: PhoneNews reported that the carrier is internally testing the recently launched HTC Hero, which means the handset could be landing on its network sometime later this year.
Furthermore: apparently, Sprint is also testing an unknown Android-powered WiMax-capable device by Samsung, scheduled for release sometime in the end of 2009, or in the beginning of 2010.

First pictures of the upcoming Motorola's Android-powered iDEN/Wi-Fi phone have appeared recently. Known as Opus 1, the handset will be manufactured by Israel-based subsidiary Mirs, and will arrive sometime in 2010.

Here's another Android phone for ya, the H7 manufactured by Haier. It's not pretty, the specs are nothing special, but it will run Android 2.0 (a.k.a Donut) and will be available for an affordable price of around $150 on contract. It's scheduled to be released in September in France.

Huawei has officially launched its new U8230 handset, which was first shown at MWC earlier this year. Full mspecs weren't announced, but we do know it will feature a 3.5" touchscreen display and a 1500mAH battery, which is said to be the largest battery "among Android-powered handsets currently available." Well, that's logical, since the only Android handset that exists for quite a while now is the G1, and it's battery is far from perfect.

T-Mobile USA has announced the upcoming launch of the next Android-powered smartphone that should take place in "early summer". There are no additional details available about it at the moment, but according to previously leaked slides of the T-Mobile USA 2009 road map the handset will look like the HTC Magic, which is already available from other carriers.
