Apple's famous Safari browser became even more attractive in the iPhone 2.2 firmware. Its interface has been slightly modified. They've added a Google search bar at the top, and moved the reload button to the address bar to make text-entry areas a bit wider. It's nice, however, we'd rather like to know whether they've also included the copy/paste functionality in this build.
Yes, it's true, and we hear a lot of guesses what the iPhone 2.2 beta 1 would actually include. The ideas are various, from full LTE and WiMAX support to the ability to run Google's Android in emulation. However, those are just presumptions and cannot be taken seriously until we hear some words from the officials.

Apple has released the new iPhone 2.0.2 firmware update. It is available for download now through iTunes and supposedly fixes some bugs, which Apple didn't name.
According to some rumors, Apple plans to release a mini version of the iPhone called iPhone nano. The source says should be available by Christmas at a price of $300 sans contract.
As there are still 5 months to go before Christmas, I wouldn't get too excited in your place. And by the way, no one knows whether it will be a shrinked 3G iPhone... Rather we should wait.
Get ready to drool, iPhone fans. Some lucky person from Portugal has opened the box with the new iPhone 3G. We don't know how he/she got the device, but I guess we'll find it out soon enough... Just don't get too upset, as there are only three days left to go before the official release.

Telstra subscribers in Australia will soon be able to get their hands on the Apple iPhone 3G. The handset will be available starting July 11 at a price of $279 for the 8GB model or $399 for the 16GB model and will come with a 2-year contract.
The carrier also announced Next G iPhone 3G plans, which start from $30 per month and include free Wi-Fi access at Telstra hotspots.
A pre-release version of iTunes 7.7 was issued by Apple for developers. The Read Me file of the iTunes installer gives a hint at a previously unannounced iPhone/iPod Touch application. Here's what it sais:
