According to the rumor website 9to5 Mac, at the upcoming Macworld Keynote event Steve Jobs plans to make an official announcement that iPhone sales have passed the 5 million mark.

We don't know for sure yet, but it seems quite possible. Looks like Apple intends to keep its promise and sell 10 million handsets by the end of 2008.

According to the Dial-a-Phone blog, LG Viewty is apparently outselling the Apple iPhone in Europe.
