Asus has launched its new P522w PDA phone with Glide UI. While the phone surely isn't a competitor to the iPhone with its multi-touch interface, it should be a good alternative for those who don't have enough funds to get an HTC TouchFLO device.

ASUS' O2 Xda Zest has finally made its way onto the O2's "Coming Soon" page and is set to be released in November. Details are still scarce. Here's what we know so far:

• Windows Mobile OS;

• 3G support;
• Wi-Fi;
• 356MB of internal memory;
• microSD expansion slot

Thanks to Navigadget.com we have the full list of features of the recently leaked Asus P565. As you see, there's nothing even left to imagine:

Here's a picture of an unknown Asus smartphone, which many sources claim to be the P565. Not also does it look nice, it's also the first smart to integrate a 800MHz CPU. Apart from that it also features a VGA screen, European HSDPA, 3Mpix auto-focus camera and GPS. Stay tuned for more details as they surface.

ASUS has released a Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional update for its P750 smartphone for users in Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Denmark and Italy. The new firmware also includes improved call audio and connection stability, as well as the previously released patch that improves overall stability of the device.

All willing can download the update at the ASUS support website.

A new smartphone from Asus has been leaked today. It's called Glaxy7 and has a pretty impressive feature set, which is not yet confirmed but is very likely.

A little while ago ASUS has announced the availability of the Windows Mobile 6.1 firmware update for its P527 smartphone, but only today they've decideded to leave a download link on their website. So start upgrading!

Besides updating the OS, the new ROM has a number of functionality improvements, including fixed date and time bug, improved playback of multimedia files, fixed call bug, and upgraded functionality of the GSM/EDGE modem.

The new Asus P552w is a newly announced Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro powered smartphone. It will be the first handset to use the finger-friendly Glide UI, designed by ASUS.

The company didn't announce the pricing or launch date, but the specifications were made public:

Global Certification Forum (GCF) has approved a new smartphone, developed by Asus for O2, the O2 Xda Zest. Currently the details are scarce, we only know that it will run Windows Mobile, like all Xda's, and will feature tri-band GSM/UMTS 2100 radios, as well as video telephony and web browsing.

ASUS announced they'll be launching their new P560 smartphone next month.

The device was announced at CeBIT earlier this year; it runs the new Windows Mobile Professional 6.1 OS and features HSDPA, Wi-Fi, 3.2Mpix autofocus cam, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, GPS, microSDHC slot, 256MB of ROM, 128MB of RAM, and more.

The price is pretty high, though - €500 (about $772).
