Samsung Pixon Soon at AT&T?

FCC has shared some information regarding the Samsung M8800 Pixon, which will obviously be heading towards AT&T, as it supports the 1900MHz and 850MHz WCDMA bands. Apart from that, this 8Mpix camearphone will have all the same features as its European counterpart.

Unlike previously thought, it seems the M8800 won't be arriving to T-Mobile anytime soon.

AT&T to Fire 12,000 Workers

AT&T to Fire 12,000 Workers

Apparently, AT&T has also fallen a victim of the current financial crisis, as it has decided to fire 12,000 of its employees, which constitutes approximately 4% of the company’s total workforce. In order to pay severance to affected employees, AT&T will have to fork out about $600 million. A desperate move, but necessary. However, even in this situation they're still hiring new employees to their wireless, video, and broadband departments.

AT&T to Offer Nokia E71x

AT&T to Offer Nokia E71x

AT&T will soon be offering the Nokia E71 as E71x.

We can't say why they decided to rebrand the phone, but we don't expect any major changes over the original. The price is also kept secret, but we're hearing of $150 with a 2-year contract.

Take this with a pinch of salt, though... Anyway, get ready, the release isn't far.
