Pantech has presented its latest Matrix Pro smartphone, set to be launched on the AT&T's network. This Windows Mobile 6.1 powered handset is basically a successor to the old Pantech Duo, and comes with a sideways-sliding QWERTY keyboard.

The expected price shouldn't exceed $179.99

A photo of what appears to be the unannounced Motorola ZN300 has surfaced today. As seen in the pic, the phone comes with a context-aware d-pad, where the options change based on the feature currently in use. Also, several screenshots from the phone's UI have been released, showing possible integration with social networks such as Facebook and MySpace, as well as an AT&T's Cellular Video service icon indicating that the handset is most likely coming to AT&T.

AT&T will soon be offering a new smartphone from Samsung called Propel Pro. It is a minor update from the current Samsung Propel. The phone will be powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard, and will feature the optical joystick, 3G connectivity, QWERTY keyboard and a built-in camera.

No word on availability and pricing.

Online retailer Newegg is now offering the AT&T Fuze for just $149.99 after a 2-year contract and mail-in rebates. To compare, AT&T sells the handset for $299.99 on contract, and the Neweggs current offer appears to be the best since the Fuze has been launched.

The new Motorola Tundra clamshell that has recently been treleased on Rogers will soon become available to AT&T customers. A good choice for those who want a rugged phone with acceptable features.

Wow, some people seem to have no life at all. A 14 year old girl Reina Hardesty has sent 14,258 text messages in December, which equals to 470 a day, or one every two minutes. Her parents found out about this after they've received a 440-page bill from AT&T. Fortunately for them she used an unlimited texting plan, phew... Plus, now she also won't be able to send text messages during nighttime.

It's confirmed: Nokia's feature-rich E71x will soon be landing on AT&T. The carrier itself didn't announce the device yet, but there's a PDF manual with AT&T specifications available at Nokia's website for public viewing.

Expect the official announcement in the nearest future.
