Telus, one of Canada's leading telecommunication companies, plans to launch the new Blackberry Pearl 2 smartphone not long before Christmas. The second version comes with a 2Mpix digicam and Wi-Fi connectivity, which is a rare feature for a Blackberry device. It is yet unknown whether Bell or Rogers will offer the device as well, but the latter is the most likely candidate.

Rumour has it that Vodafone will soon launch the upcoming Blackberry 8310 smartphone in the UK. There is almost no info about the device for now, all we know is that it is very light and comes with GPS functionality. Stay tuned for more details.

Besides the upcoming release of BlackBerry Curve , T-mobile has prepared another surprise for us in September.

The good old BlackBerry Pearl receives three new colors: Red, Blue, and Gold. Everything else remains the same.

Prices will be unveiled on September 4th and, as we expect, will be a little higher than for the existing Black and White models.

At last, T-Mobile announced that the most anticipated BlackBerry handset to date, the BlackBerry 8320 Curve. It is scheduled for launch on September 24th.

Until then we can only wait for the release.

Vodafone and RIM have recently introduced the new BlackBerry Curve 8310 smartphone in Germany. It is a powerful multifunctional GSM handset packed with a multitude of useful features. Research In Motion (RIM) presents its latest BlackBerry 8820 smartphone, the first BlackBerry combining EDGE/GPRS/GSM and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g networks in a single device, allowing users to switch between them.

The device receives the thinnest RIM smartphone design and comes equipped with a full QWERTY keyboard, large 320x240 display, and trackball navigation system.

The long-awaited Wi-Fi enabled BlackBerry phone will soon become available as FCC has recently approved such a device.

T-Mobile and AT&T are the potential carriers to offer this GSM handset in the US.

The new BlackBerry 8820 uses Wi-Fi connectivity for accessing the web. It wasn't officially announced, so there is very little info about it. We know that 8820 doesn't differ much from 8800, and comes with a landscape display and QWERTY keyboard. The camera is lacking, not sure about the memory slot.

The first carrier to offer the device is also unknown.

The BlackBerry 8830 World Edition smartphone is now available on the Verizon Network. The device is the first on the network to use the new "always-on, always connected" Global BlackBerry service, allowing its usage in most parts of the world.
