CrackBerry has published a video featuring the new unreleased BlackBerry Gemini that was showcased at RIM’s Wireless Enterprise Symposium. It looks like the handset will be geared for the lower-end, with the specs like GSM/EDGE, 2Mpix camera w/o flash, 320 x 240 display, and Wi-Fi, and we surely expect some competitive pricing in this case.

According to BGR, AT&T is going to release the BlackBerry Curve 8900 in the near future. The same handset is available today from T-Mobile, but the AT&T's version will have a small difference: it will include the same themes as the Bold 9000 (also sold by AT&T).
The price wasn't mentioned, though. Note that T-Mobile currently offers its version of the Curve 8900 for $149.

Rumor has it that RIM is preparing another BlackBerry, dubbed the BlackBerry Apex. Details regarding this device are scarce so far, but it seems it might be a 3G clamshell, similar to the Pearl Flip 8230. In fact, it will probably be a CDMA variant of the Flip with EV-DO support.

Telus has become the second CDMA carrier (after Bell) to release the OS 4.7.0.122 update BlackBerry Storm 9530. But ther're both Canadian companies, and what about their southern neighbours? Well, it looks like Verizon will be the next.

Alltel Wireless has recently announced they'll be offering the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230. The handset should be released in early May with a price tag of $79.99 after a $70 mail-in rebate.

Of course, this is not official, but a rumor has it that the upcoming BlackBerry handset known today as Niagara will be renamed to BB Tour when it's released. We have no idea why would RIM decide to rename it, but if they do, we won't cry and accept the change. Now, what variant do you prefer?

Verizon has released an official BlackBerry 8830 OS update to OS 4.5.0.138. The latest build is currently available for download at the carrier’s BlackBerry page.
Hopefully, an update for the Storm is also on its way.

Today we have some new details on the upcoming BlackBerry OS 5.0 Update. Apparently, Messages, Calendar, Browser and Maps have all received improvements. For example, when you scroll through a long list of emails, the date header will remain stationary, which means you'll always know what day's e-mail you're looking at. More info here.

Sprint has quietly launched the BlackBerry Curve 8350i today, possibly due to the fact that the device has no camera, which is an essential feature of any modern phone. This camera-less model has the same price as the original, and is targeted at enterprise customers. Other features of the Curve 8350i are Wi-Fi, a full QWERTY keyboard, trackball navigation, Bluetooth 2.
