FCC site revealed a CDMA BlackBerry Pearl Flip, which we thought didn't exist. It supports CDMA and EV-DO on the 850 and 1900 MHz bands, and will probably be available via Verizon and Telus when it's approved.

Those unofficial BlackBerry firmware updates are starting to really get on my nerves. Ok... in case you didn't know, there's a new unofficial OS 4.6.0.241 firmware update available, this time for the BlackBerry Bold. So, if you happen to own one, you may try it, but as always be careful.

I'm really tired of all those unofficial firmware updates for the BlackBerry Storm 9500/9530, but we can not ignore them. So the latest version is OS 4.7.0.109, and as always there's no telling what changes over the previous version it offers.

BlackBerry Storm 9500 from Vodafone and the 9530 from Verizon have received new unofficial firmware updates, particularly 4.7.0.103 for the latter, and 4.7.0.106 for the former.
So far the feedback was mostly positive: better camera, navigation, and browser. All willing can download the file here. Don't forget to backup your data.
