The latest OS 4.6.0.234 for BlackBerry Bold owners can be downloaded here, though as usual we know nothing about the changes integreted in the new build. Proceed with caution.

Verizon customers will be pleased to know that the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 will soon be available on carrier's network. Pricing and availability details weren't revealed yet, but there is a number of test units already available, so the release is extremely close.

A day after the official release of the OS 4.6.1.133 update for the BlackBerry Curve 8900 smartphone, the guys over at crackberry.com came up with what they claim to be the leaked OS 4.6.1.144 firmware for the handset. Head over to their site for more info. Install at your own risk!

Because of a bug that causes overage on customers’ plans, T-Mobile has recalled BlackBerry Curve smartphones from stores in Europe. Bold's were pulled off too just in case.

Hopefully they'll release a firmware update soon that will fix this issue.

Reportedly, the first European carrier to launch a Pay-As-You-Go BlackBerry handset would be Orange UK. They offer an exclusively colored BlackBerry 8120 Indigo for £145 with monthly fee of £5.

A damn good deal if you ask me, and the phone launches tomorrow.

As expected, Telus has launched the BlackBerry 8350i on its iDEN network in Canada. Current prices are as follows:

$249 on 3-year contract;
$449 on 2-year contract;
$549 on 1-year contract;
$599 outright

A new firmware update for T-Mobile's BlackBerry Curve 8900 has been leaked today. The new version 4.6.1.133 is said to include louder ringtone sound, as well as improved battery life. If you alredy have the device, install the update at your own risk.

Just to remind you, regular users will be able to purchase the handset starting January 19th, while business users can get it already from T-Mobile.

The BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 will soon be available in CDMA version, as tha handset will be hitting Telus in the nearest future. According to the unofficial info, the phone should be released as early as next month in either black or pink colors.

Possible U.S. carriers for the 8220 are Verizon, T-Mobile or Sprint.
