Just a quick update: here's a video proving the authenticity of the yesterday's photo.

Telus subscribers will finally be able to get their hands on the latest BlackBerry OS 4.5 update. Well, not actually latest, as users on other networks use software version 4.5.0.89, while those on telus will have to settle with 4.5.0.77 build. But, it's better than nothing anyway.

The update is compatible with 8130 Pearl and the 8330 Curve models, and can be downloaded here.

Sprint has finally released the new BlackBerry Curve 8350i for its PTT-based iDEN network. The phone is currently available at the Sprint's web store for just $149 after a mail-in rebate with a 2-year contract. The carrier's retail stores should start selling it from January 11.

Features include:

• BlackBerry Device Software v4.6;
• Integrated GPS for step-by-step directions, navigation and local search;
• 2Mpix digital camera with digital zoom, flash and video recording;
• DataViz Documents To Go;
• Speakerphone;
• Expandable memory of up to 16GB through its microSD/SDHC memory card slot;
• Bluetooth 2.

It's hard to tell whether this is real or not, but judging by picture it looks like it's a BlackBerry Application Suite running on a HTC Touch Pro. Rumors of such a thing were going around back in 2007, and assuming that the photo is real, it's very nice to finally see it on a live shot.

Following Rogers, AT&T has announced the upcoming release of the Wi-Fi-enabled BlackBerry Curve 8320 on its network. The phone will be available for $149.99 on a 2-year contract, including free access to any of AT&T’s 17,000 nationwide Wi-Fi hotspots, if you choose an unlimited plan.

Unfortunately, those interested in the offer will be able to pick up the phone only in January.

Today Sprint has finally launched its iDEN BlackBerry 8350i, which is now available at the company's site. The latest iDEN device will make for a great purchase during this holiday season.

Nice! AT&T has finally announced the availability of the BlackBerry OS 4.5 for 8220, 8320 and 8310 models. Advanced Blackberry users have probably been running the latest firmware for quite a while now, as one can install the OS 4.5 build taken from any carrier by simply deleting the vendor.xml file in the phone's memory.

RIM and SK Telecom have announced the upcoming availability of the BlackBerry Bold 9000 for corporate users in Korea. The phone will most likely be released on December 29th.

According to some sources, the long-awaited BlackBerry 8350i will be launched on Monday, December 15th on Sprint’s iDEN network. Some users will even be able to get it before the official release. Get ready.

• Group Connect;
• iDen (800/900MHz) network;
• WiFi 802.

O2 UK is planning to launch the BlackBerry 8900 on January 5th, and if you’re interested in this offer, you'll be able to buy the phone for a price between “free” and £234, depending on the contract.
