Australian carrier Telstra announced it will be bringing the new Blackberry Bold to its network in late September. While it's noticeably later than the global summer release, the handset will be available at no cost for business customers when it goes on sale in fall.
Reportedly, T-Mobile will start offering a customly painted Blackberry Curve within a week. It will come in sunset color, but won't feature any hardware or software updates. As usual in such cases...
With the Blackberry Bold making its way to the forthcoming release, we don't think this one will gain much popularity. Still, if you like it, don't forget to visit T-Mobile's website on August 4th.

It will be available for $649.99, and the reseller also said they'll start shipping the devices on the launch date in September, so everyone will receive their purchase in time.
As promised, RIM has announced the BlackBerry Media Sync, the solution that brings iTunes support to BlackBerry smartphones. Now owners of the Pearl, Curve or 8800 series models can sync their iTunes playlists with their device.
BlackBerry Media Sync is available for free download from RIM, and is expected to be bundled with future devices, such as Bold, Kickstart and Thunder.
Telus now offers the pink version of the BlackBerry Curve. Personally, I don't see any point in this, especially on the threshold of the BlackBerry Bold release.
Anyway, if you still intend to buy yourself a BlackBerry Curve, it can be yours for CA$149.99 on a three-year contract or CA$549.99 without contract. But don't rush as prices will fall as soon as the Bold launches.
T-Mobile Germany has added the BlackBerry Bold on its website. The handset costs $348 (219.95 EUR) along with the 2-year Max S plan for $39.5 (24.95 EUR) a month. We expect roughly the same pricing in T-Mobile U.S. stores when the phone is released.
The German release date is rumored to be July 21st, but it is subject to change.
Bad news for BlackBerry Bold waiters. It seems the device has once again been delayed until September for a decent number of carriers. Apparently, there are some software-related issues that have to be resolved before the launch. And now regarding the BlackBerry Thunder: according to the source, the device will be announced in the U.S. in September, and should be released in mid-October on Verizon, though it might as well be delayed until November.
