Reportedly, the first European carrier to launch a Pay-As-You-Go BlackBerry handset would be Orange UK. They offer an exclusively colored BlackBerry 8120 Indigo for £145 with monthly fee of £5.

A damn good deal if you ask me, and the phone launches tomorrow.

BlackBerry Curve 8900 OS upgrade leaked

A new firmware update for T-Mobile's BlackBerry Curve 8900 has been leaked today. The new version 4.6.1.133 is said to include louder ringtone sound, as well as improved battery life. If you alredy have the device, install the update at your own risk.

Just to remind you, regular users will be able to purchase the handset starting January 19th, while business users can get it already from T-Mobile.

The BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 will soon be available in CDMA version, as tha handset will be hitting Telus in the nearest future. According to the unofficial info, the phone should be released as early as next month in either black or pink colors.

Possible U.S. carriers for the 8220 are Verizon, T-Mobile or Sprint.
