BlackBerry Pearl 8120 Releaded in the UK

RIM and O2 have released the new BlackBerry Pearl 8120 smartphone in the UK.

The device has the same sleek and stylish design as the previous versions and is available in a new Blue finish. Some of its main features include:

  • New enhanced UI;
  • 2Mpix photo/video camera with 5x zoom, capable of recording videos at 240x180 or 176x144 pixel resolutions;
  • Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.

CDMA-enabled Blackberry Pearl from Verizon Wireless

Verizon Wireless started offering the CDMA version of the Blackberry Pearl smartphone, which is the company's first ever CDMA handset.

Features of the Pearl include support for dual-band EVDO (800/1900 MHz) network, integration with up to 10 e-mail accounts, a 2Mpix camera, and a 240x260 resolution screen.

Alltel to Launch Several New Handsets

Alltel subscribers will soon be able to get their hands on several new handsets in the nearest future.

And now by order: the first is Palm Treo 755p smartphone, not the best option to choose; next is the Blackberry Pearl 8130, which will launch along with the 755p; and the last smartphone is the one named UTStarcom 6850, probably a re-branded version of the HTC Mogul.

RIM has just launched its BlackBerry 8120 in Spain.

The smartphone is now available from Telefonica and comes with the following features: Wi-Fi connectivity, 2Mpix photo/video camera, microSD slot, renewed user interface, media player, 3.5mm headset jack, and more.

You can purchase the 8120 in any Telefonica retail store.

AT&T is About to Release a WiFi-enabled BlackBerry 8820

Starting today AT&T will be offering the BlackBerry 8820. As far as you know, the device supports quad-band GSM/EDGE networks, and, of course, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g connectivity.

Other features include QWERTY keyboard, push-to-talk, built-in GPS receiver and navigation applications, Bluetooth 2.0, media player, and a microSD memory expansion slot.
