According to BGR's trusted source, T-Mobile USA will apparently be launching the BlackBerry 9700 a.k.a. Bold 2 a.k.a. Onyx on November 11th. The information is not confirmed yet, so for now we'll wait for the official word.

 

The phone will be announced for AT&T and T-Mobile on October 21st.

According to BGR, the U.S. Cellular will be joining other U.S. based CDMA carriers to offer the new BlackBerry 9630 to its subscribers. Above you see a screenshot of the specs page from their site. While it provides some info on the phone's key features, we'd like to know the exact release date instead.

Rogers has recently (October 8th) released BlackBerry 8520 to its customers in Canada. The phone is currently available in black and violet color options, and can be purchased for $99 on a 3-year agreement with minimum combined service fees of $45/mo or more.

The upcoming BlackBerry Bold 9700 and Curve 8520 have recently been spotted in Rogers’ upgrade system. Both will be available in October with the Curve being heavily discounted to less than $100, while the Bold having the same price as the Bold 9000. Currently there's no precise info about them, but stay tuned as we'll be hearing more details soon.

 

BlackberryOS.com managed to get their hands on some internal Verizon documents, according to which there are three new handsets scheduled for release next month on the Big Red. First it's the BlackBerry Storm 2 launching October 14th, then the Motorola's Android-based Sholes, as well as the LG VX8575 "Chocolate Touch" (a variant of the BL40 Chocolate Touch) launching "mid-October".

With the upcoming launch of the BlackBerry Storm 2, Verizon decided to dispose of its stock of old Storms. And what is a better way to sell old handsets than making them dirt cheap. If you're willing you can now get the 9530 for a just $49.99 on a two-year contract after rebate. That's $100 lower than the original price, which makes it a great deal.

However, we'd suggest you to wait a bit, save up some money and buy the second Storm.

As it was expected, AT&T has recently started rolling out visual voicemail updates to its BlackBerry Bold users. The voicemail gives users the ability to store up to 40 messages at a time, and add numbers to contact list from voicemail. A more detailed list of features is available here.
