RIM has just launched its BlackBerry 8120 in Spain.

The smartphone is now available from Telefonica and comes with the following features: Wi-Fi connectivity, 2Mpix photo/video camera, microSD slot, renewed user interface, media player, 3.5mm headset jack, and more.

You can purchase the 8120 in any Telefonica retail store.

RIM has introduced the CDMA version of its Blackberry Pearl, called the Pearl 8130.

The new model comes with some new feature and software upgrades, but has the same body as the original Pearl. New features include a new OS with updated software applications, a 2Mpix camera, stereo Bluetooth, a 3.

The long-awaited RIM BlackBerry Curve 8320 with Wi-Fi is at last available from T-Mobile. The new smartphone is a full-featured device with enhanced multimedia and connectivity capabilities, the first handset to support T-Mobile HotSpot @Home service, allowing for unlimitted Wi-Fi calls inside the network. Starting today AT&T will be offering the BlackBerry 8820. As far as you know, the device supports quad-band GSM/EDGE networks, and, of course, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g connectivity.

Other features include QWERTY keyboard, push-to-talk, built-in GPS receiver and navigation applications, Bluetooth 2.0, media player, and a microSD memory expansion slot.

Just to let you know, Sprint BlackBerry Pearl will feature Sprint TV service that will allow customers to watch live hi-res TV programs directly on their device.

Let's hope Verizon in its turn will also offer V Cast ESPN MobileTV service on the BlackBerry 8130.

For those unfamiliar with the device, this handset comes with the same features as its predecessor, the 8800 GPS, but integrates Wi-Fi connectivity, lacking on other BlackBerries available in the U.S.

Following Verizon and Sprint, Alltel Wireless announced that it would carry the BlackBerry 8830 World Edition smartphone. So if you're an Alltel subscriber, you might want to get yourself one of these.

Telus, one of Canada's leading telecommunication companies, plans to launch the new Blackberry Pearl 2 smartphone not long before Christmas. The second version comes with a 2Mpix digicam and Wi-Fi connectivity, which is a rare feature for a Blackberry device. It is yet unknown whether Bell or Rogers will offer the device as well, but the latter is the most likely candidate.

Rumour has it that Vodafone will soon launch the upcoming Blackberry 8310 smartphone in the UK. There is almost no info about the device for now, all we know is that it is very light and comes with GPS functionality. Stay tuned for more details.

Besides the upcoming release of BlackBerry Curve , T-mobile has prepared another surprise for us in September.

The good old BlackBerry Pearl receives three new colors: Red, Blue, and Gold. Everything else remains the same.

Prices will be unveiled on September 4th and, as we expect, will be a little higher than for the existing Black and White models.
