Starting today AT&T will be offering the BlackBerry 8820. As far as you know, the device supports quad-band GSM/EDGE networks, and, of course, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g connectivity. Other features include QWERTY keyboard, push-to-talk, built-in GPS receiver and navigation applications, Bluetooth 2.0, media player, and a microSD memory expansion slot.

Telus, one of Canada's leading telecommunication companies, plans to launch the new Blackberry Pearl 2 smartphone not long before Christmas. The second version comes with a 2Mpix digicam and Wi-Fi connectivity, which is a rare feature for a Blackberry device. It is yet unknown whether Bell or Rogers will offer the device as well, but the latter is the most likely candidate.

Besides the upcoming release of BlackBerry Curve , T-mobile has prepared another surprise for us in September. The good old BlackBerry Pearl receives three new colors: Red, Blue, and Gold. Everything else remains the same. Prices will be unveiled on September 4th and, as we expect, will be a little higher than for the existing Black and White models.
