Some mobile phone manufacturers are now trying to create phones for blind people. On the picture you can see such a handset, designed by Peter Lau. It lacks a screen and comes with angled keys to ease the usage. Because the blind can not read and type, some kind of text-to-speech software should be loaded on this phone to read the incoming messages and those being typed.
