BlueAnt has recently unveiled its new Z9 Bluetooth Headset.

This small 1.5", 0.35 oz device features its own Voice Isolation technology capable of extracting human voice in very noisy environments (of up to 85dB). There are two "Voice Isolation" modes available - the "Voice Isolation Standard" for usual noise level and the "Voice Isolation Max" when things get extremely loud.

Last week at CES 2008 Motorola introduced its new S9-HD Bluetooth headphones, an upgraded version of the S9 model.

The S9-HD features SRS WOW HD technology delivering 3D surround sound and high-definition audio. The ear buds became more comfortable and noticeably reduce background noise.

It looks like HP will soon start producing Bluetooth headsets, as a couple of their noise-canceling wireless headphones were recently spotted at the FCC website.

They weren't showcased at CES, so we can expect the official release in the coming months.

 

The world's premier headset manufacturer, GN Netcom, announced today at CES it has added five new Jabra headsets to its lineup:

• JX-20 Pura - Titanium Edition: an elegant and luxurious Bluetooth headset by Jacob Jensen;
• BT8040: provides outstanding sound quality, while weighing in at less than half an ounce;
• BT8030: lets users remotely control their music and phone calls via Bluetooth;
• BT3030: can be used as a speakerphone for hands-free convenience;
• JX10 + A7010 Bluetooth Hub: connects to both mobile and desk phones offering pure wireless freedom.

Bluetooth SIG is celebrating its 10th anniversary this week.

The first Bluetooth-enabled devices have appeared in 2000, after two years of work on standardization.

Today there are more than 1.5 billion of them, and the number is constantly growing. Of course, Bluetooth SIG members don't want to stop on the achieved and are now working on the next generation of Bluetooth standard, which will use a much faster ultra-wideband (UWB) technology.

Helio Mysto is the latest addition the company's phone lineup.

It is a slider handset equipped with a 2Mpix camera, integrated GPS receiver, Bluetooth, music player and a microSD slot. The phone will be available only in Helio’s retail stores for $149 starting December 26, 2007.

The worldwide release is scheduled on January 2008.

Jabra JX 10 is a new luxurious limited edition Bluetooth headset made with a frame of 24k gold.

Only 28,000 units will be available worldwide. Some of its features include support for Bluetooth 2.0 profile, DSP (Digital Signal Processor) to eliminate background noise, voice-activated dialing and redial support, and a battery providing up to 6 hours to talk and 200 hours of stand-by time, there is also a steal version of the JX 10 available for those who can't afford the gold one.

It is a small 8 gram earpiece with a two-color LED display, which shows you the battery status and even notifies users when the power is low. The device is perfect for those who use hands free function a lot. It will be available in Q1 2008 in the UK for GBP49.

The new Callpod Dragon Bluetooth headset is the first of its kind to offer effective distance of up to 100 meters.

I don't know why would someone need this feature, but anyway, it sounds cool and the device itself is not bad.

It comes with a dual-mic noise suppression and a two-way walkie-talkie feature in case you have two similar headsets.

With the new HBH-PV703 Bluetooth Headset from Sony Ericsson you can talk as long as you want as it provides up to 10 hours of talk time and a 350 hours of standby!

The device itself is very small and lightweight, but has everything you need to easily manage your calls and enjoy your favorite music. It will be available in grey or black colors in selected markets starting Q1 2008.
