Canadians who want a BlackBerry Bold, but couldn't afford can now breathe easily. Apparently Best Buy understands their anger caused by the insane price of 399.99 with a 3-year contract, so now it offers the handset forust $199.99 + a $50 gift card. The offer expires on November 27th, so hury up.

How do you like that? Some sources report that the fpopular BlackBerry Bold actually costs just $169.41 to manufacture. Cheap, you say? And now compare this figure with the subsidized price of US$337 that poor Canadians have to pay for the handset. That's what I call a daylight robbery!

Right the same day AT&T has announced the BlackBerry Bold, the said carrier-branded handset has appeared at eBay. It's a usual practice nowadays that one can find the desired phone before its official release. However, the price for the new Bold is just too unreasonable, and I would suggest you to wait until November 4th.

Orange UK's leaked internal memo reveales that the company decided to suspend BlackBerry Bold shipment due to software issues reported by other carriers. Here's what it says:

"Following reports of software issues with the BlackBerry Bold handset across a variety of mobile operators, Orange has decided to act in the interest of its customers by suspending shipments of the device in the UK.

Today NTT DoCoMo and RIM have announced that the BlackBerry Bold will soon be available in Japan, in early 2009 to be exact.

They said It will have all the same features available on other Bolds, with the addition of HSDPA support.

BGR has managet to get an incomplete press release document dated September 8th for the AT&T's BlackBerry Bold. The PR wasn't published however, but according to this piece info, the launch date is scheduled for October. Atleast that's something...
