In case you missed it, Rogers has released a new OS update for the BlackBerry Bold bumping the version to 4.6.0.282. The new build can be downloaded from the Rogers BlackBerry download page. As always, data backup is your friend.

After a long wait RIM and SK Telecom have finally announced the upcoming availability of the localized version of BlackBerry Bold in Korea. That said, the positions of local manufacturers such as Samsung, LG, and Pantech on the Korean market are very strong. We don't know whether a phone with an English QWERTY keyboard could be of use in Seoul, but options are always welcome, and since the Bold has managed to make it through, there will be others.

To all AT&T customers: if you wanted to get a high-end BlackBerry handset, today's your chance. The carrier has lowered the prices for the Curve 8900 and Bold models, but for a limited time only. Here are the prices:

Yes, I'm also getting sick of this continuous flux of unofficial BlackBerry OS updates, but what can we do? They just keep coming. The latest OS 4.6.0.234 for BlackBerry Bold owners can be downloaded here, though as usual we know nothing about the changes integreted in the new build. Proceed with caution.

If you own a BlackBerry Bold, there's a new theme for it that most of you will surely love. It's called DroidBerry, and will make you're WM-based handset look like it's running Android OS. It costs $7 and is available in two variants: with homescreen clock (which does't work) and without it. Head to CrackBerry to get it.

BGR has posted a couple of screenshots showing a Visual Voicemail icon on the BlackBerry Bold's homescreen. The OS the guy was running on his handset was 4.6.0.219 and his carrier was AT&T, but the application didn't start because of the lacking Application Center components.

A new and rather clever BlackBerry rip-off comes from China. It's called BlueBerry, and by the looks of it closely resembles the popular Bold model. The fake device comes with dual SIM slots, QVGA display, and a microSD slot. And the cost is just $164.99. Nice, but we prefer the real thing.
