Introducing the new Casio CA001. It features a great 3.1" WVGA touchscreen with a usual alphanumeric keypad hidden behind it. Apart from that, since it's Casio, the phone comes with a 5Mpix camera with autofocus, e-wallet support and audio/video-on-demand services. It measures in at 50 x 109 x 17.8mm and weighs 122 grams. Just to let you know.

A Korean blog posted a few photos of the rumored Verizon's Casio Exilim NX9250 cameraphone.

It's got the carrier's branding on it, and comes with a 5.1Mpix camera on the back.

Also there seems to be a unique hinge seen on the second shot, which might hint at the possible rotating screen.

A new Casio Exilim cameraphone has been spotted today at FCC, which could mean this model is not a Japan exclusive and can make it to the U.S. The phone supports CDMA and EV-DO Rev. A network, and will most likely feature a 5Mpix camera. Stay tuned for more details.

Meet the Casio Exilim W63CA, a new 8Mpix cameraphone, or rather a digicam with cell phone functionality. With all those 8Mpix handsets 3.2Mpix and 5Mpix ones will soon become a thing of the past. The W63CA is really nice, but I think Casio could have come up with a better name. Here's what it features:

• 3.1″ OLED display with 480 x 800 pixels;
• 8.1Mpix sensor;
• Wide-angle lens;
• 9-point auto-focus;
• Face detection;
• Anti-shake controls;
• Video recorder (VGA @ 30fps);
• microSD card slot

The device will be available in Japan next month, however don't expect it in the U.

Verizon announced the second cell phone for its EV-DO Rev. A based PTT network. The new G'zOne Boulder from Casio is an entry-level clamshell, which features:

• Integrated compass;
• 1.3Mpix camera;
• VZ Navigator support;
• microSD slot;
• Colors: orange/black and black/silver

The phone is available through the standard retail channels for $129.

Japanese KDDI will soon start offering Casio and Hitachi handsets equipped with Electronic ink displays, previously known as electrophoretic displays (EPD). This display technology offers increased readability in direct sunlight and consumes very little power.

KDDI, the third largest cellular operator in Japan announced its Summer 2008 collection of mobile handsets. A good reason to fly to Japan this summer, if you need a new phone.

Here's the list of the available devices:

• Hitachi Wooo W62H - dual-flip with 3G gaming and video capabilities. Comes in blue, silver, and black.
• Sharp W62SH - 16:9 WVGA screen, 3.

FCC unveiled Casio's latest handset called G'zOne aka "Boulder".

The phone will support dual-band CDMA radio with EV-DO Rev. A data, push-to-talk, Bluetooth and will be available from Verizon Wireless in the near future.

LG has released a new cameraphone for Korean and Japanese markets. Most probably this is the successor to LH2300 model, but looks very similar to the Casio W53CA phone with an LG logo on it.

Casio presents its new waterproof EXILIM handset for the Japanese KDDI network - the W61CA 5.1Mpix cameraphone, designed for people who lead an active life style.

It features calorie consumption calculation shows details of elapsed time and distance traveled. An anime character "Adelie penguin", which appears on the phone's standby screen was added as a bonus.
