Probably to attract some new customers, Sprint has decided to come up with the two new colors for the Palm Centro smartphone. As far as we can see in the picture, the company will offer the handset in rose and some kind of green (we don't know their official names yet). Do you like them?

Palm Centro has passed the 2 million mark in terms of units sold. This is a serious success for the struggling manufacturer, and maybe now they'll assent to release the successor to their dated Palm OS.
The Palm Centro smartphone is available in 25 countries on four continents.

Sprint's Palm Centro received a little update. It adds My Location feature to Google Maps, as well as improves Bluetooth performance and Gmail IMAP and SprintTV.

Just a quick update for you: apparently, Palm Centro will be coming to AT&T in electric blue on July 11th, and will cost cheaper.

We don't know how much it will actually cost, but we expect the said price cut to apply only for the GSM version.

 

Palm announced it will start producing the unlocked version of its Centro smartphone. The device will cost $299 and will sport the same characteristics as the quad-band GSM/EDGE version from AT&T. It can be purchased directly from the company's website.

In addition, Palm also announced that Google will be offering its Maps for Mobile with My Location service to Centro owners.

Palm and Rogers Wireless have recently announced the Canadian launch of the popular Palm Centro smartphone.
The handset will be available for $199 CAD for existing customers and $299 CAD for new subscribers, however they will all have to sign a three-year contract with a required voice and data plan.

We don't get it... It looks like Verizon intends to sell the Palm Centro for a whole $269.99 on a 2-year contract before $70 mail-in rebate starting June 13.

Maybe there's a typo here, or will they include a complementary $100 bill with each handset they sell?

Palm Centro is now available from all U.S. national operators.

The last carrier to join the group was Verizon. The handset will be available in blue color, the same that was released recently in Mexico, with more versions to come.

It looks like Sprint will soon stop offering the Palm Treo 755p, as the handset has been recently removed from the carrier's website.

This makes sense considering that the Palm Centro is now the king of the hill at Sprint.

Anyway, you will still be able to get the 755p model at some popular on-line retailers.

A blue version of the GSM Palm Centro smartphone is now available in Mexico through Telcel and Movistar. As expected, no specs were changed, just the color.

Nice, I wonder why AT&T overlooked this one.
