As it was announced by Cingular Wireless L.L.C., two music phones will be added to Cingular cell phone offerings. Both models are Sony Ericsson's walkmans.

The first handset to be released will be Sony Ericsson W300i and the second one is Sony Ericsson W810.

According to Kelleigh Beal, a Cingular spokeswoman, this action was taken to extend Cingular's music-related services.

Cingular and HTC today announced the ultra-slim Cingular 3125, the newest Windows Mobile-powered clamshell smartphone that combines a slim design with PDA functionality.

Cingular 3125 offers a full set of features:

Cingular annonced they will start to sell Nokia E62 from September 29. The E62 is a bit lite version of E61, cos the UMTS and Wi-Fi features are absent. Nevertheless, is has pretty good features:

• full QWERTY keyboard with large backlit keys for easy typing
• 320 x 240 pixels, high-resolution 16 million color screen

Nokia E62 will be available from Cingular in the U.

Cingular has finally launched the Motorola RAZR V3i, nearly a year after its original announcement. The handset is an update to the prolific RAZR V3 which is still being sold by Cingular in four color combinations (Silver, Pink, Blue and Black).

Cingular posted a strong second quarter as the company continues to see gains from its merger with AT&T Wireless. While revenue increased only a modest 7%, profit spiked 267% to a record $540 million. Cingular remains the largest carrier in the US, with 57.3 million customers.

Cingular Wireless today launched the LG CU500 3G phone to take advantage of its new high-speed wireless network in San Antonio.

The Cingular 3G network uses HSDPA/UMTS (High Speed Downlink Packet Access/Universal Mobile Telephone System) technology, allowing customers to more quickly access email, browse the internet, connect to business applications, or watch video clips while on-the-go.

Cingular Wireless said on Wednesday that cable channel HBO has produced a special mobile mini-series based on the popular show "Entourage" that extends the story beyond what is shown on television.

The premise of the made-for-mobile "Entourage" story is Johnny Drama makes a "cellivision" show. Customers can view a series of short vignettes based on this premise as they continue to enjoy the adventures of the friends from Queens on the Hollywood road to fame and fortune.

Cingular Wireless launched the entry-level Motorola C139 today. It's available only as a pre-paid handset, through Cingular's GoPhone program. The candybar style handset is light on features and focuses on price:
