Samsung Corby II officially announced

Samsung has officially announced the Corby II, a successor of its wildly-popular Corby model.

It features a 3.14-inch capacitive touchscreen, 2-megapixel camera, EDGE and WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity, Bluetooth 3.0, 3.5mm headset jack and a memory expansion slot that works with microSD cards of up to 16GB.

The 1000mAh battery provides up to 9.5 hours of talk.

Samsung Corby Folder

Samsung has announced the Corby Folder -- a stylish clamshell for the domestic South Korean market. The phone is currently available on SKT, LGT, and KT in a choice of Candy Pink, Lime Green, and Blue Black colors. Features include:

  • 2.6" QVGA display;
  • 3G data (HSPA or EV-DO Rev. A);
  • Bluetooth;
  • microSD expansion;
  • 3Mpix camera;
  • DMB mobile TV reception

No word on when it might hit other markets.

Samsung M3710 Corby Beat

The new Samsung M3710 Corby Beat is one of the recent additions to the company's Corby line of smartphones. Its key point of attraction is probably the built-in Games Store, which will be the default feature in all future Bada-based handsets. Other than that it's a pretty simple 2G phone with a 2.8" QVGA display, 3Mpix camera, Wi-Fi, and a set of dedicated music keys at the bottom.

Both the CorbyPlus B3410 and B5310 feature a QVGA touchscreen, 3.5mm headset jack, Samsung’s TouchWIZ UI, as well as quick access to Facebook, Twitter and MySpace.
