Verizon Offers Unlimited Plans and Mobile Email

Verizon Wireless is now offering unlimited mobile traffic, messaging, VZ Navigator, and basic V CAST video clips with 450 minutes for $79.99. Plans range up to 6,000 minutes for $239.99. In addition, for an extra $5 per month Verizon will also include its new mobile email service, which allows users to receive emails to 10 different inboxes sent to their phones from providers like Yahoo, Hotmail and AOL.

Hamid Akhavan, T-Mobile International CEO, announced that T-Mobile will begin offering push email service to its consumers. It is suspected that the new service might be part of T-Mobile's attempt to get into social networking and community services.

Sprint makes available Sprint Mobile Email

By launching Sprint Mobile Email, Sprint is going to improve mobile messaging for its customers. This application is a new downloadable email client powered by SEVEN that provides easy access to multiple email accounts in one place. By using Sprint Mobile Email users can access their accounts from AOL, Windows Live and Yahoo! As well, customers can add other POP and IMAP email accounts to access through the service.

"low-cost" cellphones going to have e-mail service

If you are owner of one of the "low-cost" cellphones and you think you don't have as much possibilities with your phone as those of the smartphone people do, then read further. It is going to enter our shores what the company says is a more economical alterantive to the BlackBerry e-mail service.

Berggi Inc. announces it is going to offer messaging services to basic mobile phones that will allow users to send and receive e-mail from Yahoo, MSN, or Google, along with a number of IM platforms.

Motorola is buying wireless e-mail provider Good Technology

Motorola, a major mobile phone vendor, reported about the buying of wireless e-mail provider Good Technology Inc. Ron Garriques, president of Motorola's Mobile Devices business said that the Good Technology would advance Motorola's vision of seamless mobility. Motorola explains that Good will be a part of its Mobile Device business unit.
