Several pictures and specs of the Eten Glofiish X600 smartphone leaked recently into the Web. This is a successor of the X500 model, operating on Windows Mobile 6 Pro OS and running on a 400MHz Samsung processor. It supports quad-band GSM and Wi-Fi networks. Other highlights include:
Eten started offering Windows Mobile 6 upgrades for its X500 and the M700Glofiish PPC phones. Both devices originally come with Windows Mobile 5, but now the ROMs will upgrade them to Windows Mobile 6 Professional, which fixes bugs, adds functionality and optimizes for better performance. The new ROM is available for download from http://www.
As we informed you some time ago, the Taiwanese high-tech manufacturer introduced their new model Eten glofiish X500.
The glofiish X500 just appeared on the FCC pages, which means that after having the approval it can be distributed in the States. But it is approved under the brand of Quanta and not by Eten. It will probably be offered as the Pharos 600 GPS Phone in the States.
